1. Status
Price assessment is not available in this Phase 0 preview. No valuation data is processed today. This page states the rules that will apply to every future result.
2. An estimate, not an appraisal
A price result is an estimate and decision aid. It is not an appraisal, an offer, a dealer quote, a financing decision, or a guarantee that any seller will transact at that number.
3. What the estimate depends on
Results depend on the make, model, year, trim, mileage, condition, options, location, and timing you supply, and on the comparable vehicles available at the moment of the calculation. Inaccurate inputs produce inaccurate results.
4. Costs not included
Taxes, title, registration, statutory fees, financing costs, trade-in values, warranties, add-ons, incentives, and insurance are separate unless a result expressly states that it includes them.
5. Verify independently
Verify specifications, recalls, safety information, vehicle history, condition, availability, and the total out-the-door price directly with the seller and the relevant authorities before you commit.
6. Provenance shown with every result
Every future price result must display its data source, the as-of date, the geography used, the number of comparables, a confidence or coverage indicator, and any attribution the data provider requires.
